These fiery sandstone creations, part of the Schnebly Hill Formation, were shaped over millions of years during the Permian Period as sediment accumulated in an ancient sea. Notable formations such as Wilson Mountain, Seven Sacred Pools and Cathedral Rock offer iconic views.
